Human Evolutionary Upgrades are here

We can rise above the Drama Triangle

2024-05-03 CSL
Have you noticed anything different in the ways you sense and experience the world?  Some of us are starting to notice rather dramatic changes.

I feel blessed to work with mentoring and coaching clients who are sometimes early sensors and experiences of energetic shifts, and also with my fellow co-founders or the International Mandela Effect Conference.  What some of us are noticing recently involve changes to our visual perceptions involving rainbow hues, and sparkling lights.

I’m hearing from some people that having existing physical, emotional, or energetic pain points and injuries can result in difficulty and additional pain in receiving these upgrades, so I recommend consistently asking my favorite question, “How good can it get?”  Thanks to maintaining such radical optimism, additional support can arrive to assist with receiving energetic upgrades.

Blueprint for the Fifth World

This time of Great Awakening has been foretold by indigenous wisdom keepers, mystics, and spiritual masters for millennia.  The Hopi described many signs that we are moving from the fourth world to the fifth, and they provide us with sage advice to keep our hearts open to love, and our kopavi (crown chakra) open to receiving divine inspiration.

The spiritual Masters and wisdom keepers explain that this natural progression from our old way of living to the New Golden Age, will be guided by unconditional divine love. This is a natural process, and a spiritual process, and therefore, we will do well to purify our hearts, and dedicate ourselves to our highest ideals and principles.  Each of us has the opportunity to rise above emotional and even karmic drama.

Some people wonder what this new world, this fifth world, this new golden age will look like. We have been given enough information now, to know what this will look like, based on recognizing the way that we now can choose to either remain on the drama triangle, or make choices to evolve above Victim-Rescuer-Perpetrator.

geodesic icosahedronJust as Buckminster Fuller created geodesic domes by recognizing that the triangle is the most stable building block, everything humans build can only be as good as their fundamental components.  We can thus envision upgrading our old Drama triangle associated with conflict, wars, trauma, and strife with a new Shambala Triangle.  We can build our new world on this foundation m honoring and recognizing all those who choose to keep hearts and heads open to divine unconditional love.

The new Shambala Triangle replaces traumatized victim consciousness with the spiritual strength of vulnerability of sincere authenticity; it replaces anxiety-ridden rescuer consciousness with heartfelt caring kindness; and it replaces righteous anger with the wisdom of deep listening.

Our society will be transformed as we each choose to transform ourselves, moving out of drama and trauma (Victim / Rescuer / Perpetrator) into kindness and love ( Sincere Authenticity / Caring Kindness / Listening Wisdom).

Sparkles

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been noticing sparkles dancing in front of me, down toward the ground, when I am walking outside.  I wondered at first if this visual surprise might actually be a type of visual migraine, but I was able to rule that out by walking indoors and seeing this sparkling quality vanish.  When I walked outdoors back into the sunny garden, I once again witnessed sparkles in front of me and down by the ground.  I first saw them toward the bottom of my (white) front door, and then noticed them on the dark asphalt street, as I went on a walk in my neighborhood.  I’m noticing something is going on with the angles of sunlight and the sparkles and rainbows effects.  I’m seeing both with such dazzling clarity.

Rainbows

Some of us are now noticing that when we look at the sky, we can see rainbow colors on or near the clouds, or near the sun.  There seems to be a softer light evident with pastel rainbow colors increasingly becoming noticeable in places where we’d never seen such beautiful colors before.

Shane Robinson and Christopher Anatra, two of my fellow IMEC board members and co-founders, have been talking about their experiences witnessing these colors near the sun for some time.  Chris has  seen rainbows shooting out of the sun near sunset, when the sun is near the horizon.  Chris suggests the idea that upgrades related to our brain being the projector of our reality and our pineal gland being the lens, with our peripheral vision through our eyes allowing us to see the world at 60 frames per second–and upgrades related to all this could be causing the sparkle effect, possibly related to the pineal gland, or perhaps caused by Cryptochromes (magnetic sensors) in our eyes.

No Pain nor Injury

Another possible human evolutionary upgrade that I’ve been experiencing this past week is being injury and pain free when boiling water (at a high, full boil with tea kettle whistling at full strength) covered half of my left hand.  I only felt minor pain from so much heat, and no redness, swelling, nor injury from this boiling water that I accidentally splashed from the tea kettle to my hand.

Before this happened, I’d received intuitive information that morning that a pain-free upgrade was available for humanity–and now I’ve directly experienced it.  It’s kind of mind-blowing when it happens to you personally!  I’ve on occasion accidentally been burned by hot objects or boiling water, and always in the past I’ve needed to immerse the affected area with cold water.  But not this time!  I skipped any treatment protocol, since none was needed–though by all rights some kind of healing treatment would have been necessary.

Seeking some kind of rational explanation for this, one idea was shared with me by fellow IMEC board member and co-founder, Shane Robinson.  Shane posited that in the moment that I saw boiling hot water splashing onto my hand I chose not to be burned by it–essentially making a quantum jump in that moment to a reality where the water is hot, but not so scalding that it would burn or blister or injure me in any way.

IMEC board member and co-founder, Christopher Anatra pointed out that not getting burned is something he’s noticed himself, sharing that, “With all the time I’ve spent in the hot Polynesian sun, Caribbean sun, etc., I am not getting sunburned at all.  My skin does get hot, but it doesn’t burn.”  Chris suggests the possibility that our plasma bodies are coming online, and the waters in our body may be upgrading to be of a plasma type frequency, where a certain amount of all the atoms are ionized.

Human Evolutionary Upgrades

We are well on our way now to starting to see that we truly can get some evolutionary upgrades that are every bit as good–or perhaps even better–than what Transhumanism has to offer.  Thanks to paying attention to things like changes in our perceptual abilities, seeing rainbows and sparkles–and noticing that we might be developing protection against pain and injury–we can better envision how we can continue to live lives based on authenticity, kindness, and connection.

Revhumanism invites us to live true to our highest potential of embodying more wisdom than cleverness; more hope than cynicism; more humility than hubris; more empathy than apathy; and more reverence than insolence.  Revhumanism represents a radical invitation for each of us to be the highest level embodiment of consciousness we wish to see in the world.  When we see everyone and everything from the perspective of reverence, doors to adjacent possible realities will consistently open where there were no doors before.

Taking the Off-ramp from Armageddon: Choosing reverence, connection, and a path to Shambhala

IMG_3193
At this time of inversion, when biblical and Hopi prophecies suggest Armageddon is near, might there be another path?

Gregg Braden recently shared a video, Are We Following an Ancient Script?  examining biblical prophecies from Psalm 83.  Careful scrutiny, and study of this biblical scripture suggests that some of the specific indicators predicted are starting to come to pass.  There do appear to be affiliations between countries in the Middle East focused on war.  Braden asks whether it might be possible for humanity to choose not to show up for what seems to be a series of scripted battles, and wars.  Braden asks:

“Do we, as conscious beings, as spiritual beings, have the right to self determination of our future?  Can we awaken into the point where we can have the thousand years of peace, without the Gog/Magog, without the tribulation, without the Armageddon war?”

I love these questions that Greg Braden asks, because they invite us to imagine how good it can get even when we may be observing sequences of events that suggest we may be entering end times.

InversionThe Inversion

Many people have recently noted that we are living in a time of Inversion.  Signs of this inversion include people noticing such things as medical systems harming instead of healing, and national military organizations contributing to overturning instead of defending their own populace.  Some of our most trusted institutions can seem to be doing the exact opposite of their original stated mission, goals, and objectives, and it can seem like the world is experiencing a slow-motion train wreck in real time.

In his book, The Inversion, author Kingsley Dennis invites us to question why an industrial-technology-media complex has become the dominant political and economic force of governance, and how our way of life seems to be moving toward becoming increasingly more morally corrupt and upside-down.

From Inversion to Reversion

I was talking with a friend this past month who pointed out that the process of giving birth is something akin to an inversion, and after a child is born, a period of reversion back to a prior (less stressful) state of being begins.  Another dear friend of mine is the mother of many children, and I’ve often marveled at how much she savors the sweet time after each child is born, with golden moments of appreciating the mother-child bond, and feeling a magical kind of sweetness in the air.  This mother-of-many appreciates the calm that can come after the storm of birth, and the feeling of fresh new beginnings, divine connection, and loving mother-child connection.

Something wonderful can happen when we put these ideas together–starting with the idea where Barbara Marx Hubbard pointed out, Our Crisis is a Birth, and this great Inversion we are sensing can be envisioned as delivering a whole new world for us to savor and treasure and enjoy, like a mother with newborn baby.

Rapture, reverence, and Revhumanism

Gregg Braden mentions the idea of the Rapture in biblical prophecy, as:

“Another reason that so many are examining what’s happening in the Middle East in Israel right now with a magnifying glass is because there is a prophesized event called the Rapture.  The Rapture is being linked with what many now are calling Ascension.  And there’s a whole series of conversations about Ascension that means different things to different people.”

I’ve also talked about the topic of Ascension, linking it to a number of energetic experiences (including such things as experiencing increased synchronicity, repeating patterns of numbers, and ringing in the ears) that is typically accompanied by a powerful expansion of consciousness.  In this process of expansion and spiritual growth people can more clearly see the value in choosing to rise above a pattern of emotional/energetic reactions, such as can be found in the so-called “Victim triangle” or “drama triangle.”

We can witness this for ourselves when we observe the difference between how our day unfolds from a starting point of emotions of fearfulness versus gratitude–we can collect our own personal observational data to illustrate the importance of these foundational states of being.  Numerous studies clearly indicate the value of adopting a regular practice of gratitude, noting that developing heartfelt appreciation and some form of gratitude practice can reshape our brains, uplift our moods, and improve our overall sense of well-being and quality of life.

The idea of Revhumanism involves relating with reverence, humility, and empathy with others, with the Earth, and with the Cosmos, inviting us to actuate high-level sovereign agency.  We can observe our thoughts and feelings at higher levels of self, without “having buttons pushed.”  We can rise above “fight or flight” (or freeze) reactive responses, and view events free from anger or anguish about the past or fearful anxiety about the future, feeling connection with our best possible future selves who are loving, joyful, fearless, compassionate, and reverent.   Revhumanism acknowledges that humanity is part of a living, growing Cosmos, with everyone intrinsically having a transcendent divine nature.

Taking the Off-ramp

Revhumanism invites us to live true to our highest potential of embodying more wisdom than cleverness; more hope than cynicism; more humility than hubris; more empathy than apathy; and more reverence than insolence.  Revhumanism represents a radical invitation for each of us to be the highest level embodiment of consciousness we wish to see in the world.  When we see everyone and everything from the perspective of reverence, doors to adjacent possible realities open where there were no doors before.

Heralding a new worldview, thanks to UFOs

2024-03-03 Cynthia 05
With world governments holding public and closed door hearings to discuss UFO and UAP disclosure recently, what have we learned?

At this time of congressional hearings publicly discussing the topic of UFOs or UAPs, it seems clear that this topic is being taken seriously, yet there exists a greater need than ever before for clarity, discernment, and focus regarding what, exactly, we are acknowledging to be real and true.

Author Paola Leopizzi Harris has been conducting interviews and writing articles on books on this topic for decades, talking with some of the most authoritative and knowledgeable experts. After witnessing some amazing artifacts and technologies, Harris notes that perhaps even more important than any such physical evidence or proof are the transformative ideas that have been shared.

A new world, if we can take it

In the famous interview that Harris conducted with Colonel Philip Corso, Harris inquired about a meeting that Corso had with a ship near the Trinity site that kept appearing and disappearing.  Corso approached the solid vessel on a hot day–110 degrees Fahrenheit in the sun–yet the physical ship was “cool as ice right there in the desert near the Trinity site.”  Corso conversed with a a being that had a glass helmet on with a a silverish band and a red jewel or sensor in the middle, who asked Corso to come aboard.  Corso said,

“I know what you have done to my people.”  Then like a human, I asked him, “What can you offer me?” He said, “A new world, if you can take it.”  Then he asked me to shut down my radar for ten minutes.  I said to myself, “If I shut my radar down, ten minutes could be an eternity.”  How did that thing know that I was the only man that could give that order?”

Learning from the past

Harris shares evidence that humans have interacted with UFOs, such as Zecharia Sitchin has shared showing that ancient Sumerians wrote the story of mankind on clay tablets some 6,000 years ago, showing they knew the sun was the center of our solar system and they knew about planets such as Pluto that have only recently in the last couple of centuries been detected by modern scientists. Evidence showing that nuclear weapons were deployed in 2024 B.C. raises questions that Sitchin asked, such as:

“Is Man born a warrior, or did someone teach us to make war?  The answer is the latter.  Before the wars of man, there were the Wars of the Gods.  Specifically, it was during the conflict between Horus and Seth, according to unambiguous Egyptian texts, that humans were given arms and enlisted to fight, on the side of Horus, at that time.  And so, it was that in the conflict between the two clans of Anunnaki nuclear weapons were used to wipe out the spaceport in the Sinai (an event reflected in the biblical tale of Sodom and Gomorrah), there was, before that, an international war related to the spaceport (the so-called “war of the Kings” in Genesis chapter 14).  The nuclear cloud from the explosion in the Sinai was carried by the winds eastward to Mesopotamia, and numerous Lamentation Texts describe how the Evil Wind, the nuclear cloud, killed all life in Sumer.”

Awakening to our soul’s purpose

Dr. Leo Sprinkle captures some of the feeling that many of us (myself included) have had when witnessing UFOs and interdimensional beings in the sky, in our dreams, and in our daydreams.  Sprinkle points out that these interactions influence on two levels–as individuals, and on a societal level.  Sprinkle says:

“Many people go through this fear and this doubt, because, not only are they coming in contact with extraterrestrials, which is a shock–but also, they are coming in contact with their own soul’s purpose, which is a bear!  It is beastly to know that we are here for a high purpose to help ourselves, to help humanity get through this stage in which the Earth is going through some changes. Humanity itself is going through some changes.  The outcome, if it’s successful, could lead into our being inducted into a confederation of civilizations of other cultures.”

Government agreements and disclosure

Dr. Steven Greer approaches the topic of government knowledge and disclosure of knowledge of UFOs with delicate diplomacy, when Harris inquires whether there is a cosmic federation which has established relations with certain government leaders, requesting to be here on Earth:

“This is a subject which must be approached with caution.  I believe there were meetings similar to what you describe, but we subsequently betrayed the ETs.  And that’s not all.  The so-called “Extraterrestrial Federation” was, and is, being targeted by bombs and weapons used to track them down and kill them.  Basically, if we believe that ETs are collaborating with the military, it’s because the military has craft similar to alien craft.”

Sergeant Clifford Stone shared insights gleaned from meeting extraterrestrials, indicating that 57 different races have been been identified.  Stone pointed out that governments are focused on national security, military applications, and new technology, with everything else being secondary.  Harris replied, “In other words, the government gets everything it can out of this contact.  In the meantime, no one worries about interior development or the spiritual side of the UFO presence.”  Stone replied:

“Absolutely.  They don’t give it a thought.  But in reality, the spiritual aspect of the UFO phenomenon must be given the utmost consideration.”

Pivotal moments and meaningful coincidences

Paola Harris describes numerous remarkable meaningful coincidences and alignment of events in “Connecting the Dots” that highlight the deeply interconnected nature of this phenomena that operates much more deeply than at surface levels.  Harris specifically notes the August 1987 Harmonic Convergence organized by Jose Arguelles, which was initiated in advance of the coming of long-prophesied transformational times in order to positively influence the Earth and all of humanity at that time and going forward.

Global Human Mind Redesign

I had an extraordinary series of daily interdimensional encounters in 1987, after the Harmonic Convergence.  This was at a time when I was employed by day as a project manager working at Citibank in the Information Technology division, and working 10 hour days.  In a lucid dream, I was interviewed for a job I never applied for by a tall humanoid being who first simply requested that I select the “best head of lettuce” from a vegetable stand.  I selected the one that energetically shone most brightly, and apparently this was all that was required for me to pass this test.  I was then escorted into a large auditorium where hundreds of beings were already seated, for a presentation on the project I was invited to join–a Global Human Mind Redesign project.  The goal of this project was to make available to humanity new ways of thinking that would continue to expand human creativity and empathy via shared awareness, while not exacerbating craziness or any forms of insanity.  Many teams of extraterrestrials would be submitting their proposed design concepts, and I was part of the review Quality Assurance team who would personally try out each of these designs, and provide feedback, with veto power.  I was to give all feedback directly to the team members who presented these designs, in order that they could learn and perhaps incorporate this information for future efforts.

The dual goals of increased empathy with improved creativity presented some interesting designs, and they were remarkably varied.  Empathy could be greatly enhanced via hive-mind like qualities, but employing such interchangeable elements typically reduced access to inspiration we know to be so priceless in creativity.  During a period of two to three weeks, every night when I went to sleep I would awaken within my dreams, and find myself continuing my essential role in this “Global Human Mind Redesign” project.  When the designs presented to me were clearly wonderful and obviously fun to embody, I was happy to share such good news with the extraterrestrial design teams.  When the designs were clearly not acceptable because they would obviously lead whoever was stuck with that mind design into some kind of depression or other forms of insanity, I was not so happy to be the bearer of bad news that this particular design in question was a no-go, and I was stopping it from being employed.  The extraterrestrials who came up with the designs I liked tended to be humanoids with very loving demeanor and the kind of folks I’d be happy to hang out with–whereas the extraterrestrials I was delivering the bad news to tended to be very different from humans, such as large, serious reptiles or insectoids.  I was further disturbed to note that some of these unaccepted designs belonged to teams that were clearly at war with others, which surprised me, since I would have expected everyone working on the Global Human Mind Redesign project to be peaceful, loving, and kind.  Clearly these teams were still engaged in working some of these social issues out.

When my time on the project wrapped up, I was relieved and rather alarmed that I’d been spending the past few weeks on spaceships just above my house and working with so many aliens.  I told my husband about all this, and when he asked where I’d been going, all I could do was point up in the dark early morning sky and say, “The ships are invisible, but they are there, and they are quite large.”  I was emotionally drained and rattled at the time by this experience. A few years later, I heard about new terms for “Crystal,” “Indigo” and “Rainbow” children, who have been noted for tapping into internal wisdom and knowledge.  These Starseed individuals are now adults who are capable of making the best of these transformational times.

Expanding our worldview

We humans have reached a time when we can experience remarkable synchronicity, and meaningful coincidences individually and together, as we witness how there appears to be much more to reality than what most of us were taught in school.  We can glean revelations of a brand new world view, and begin to appreciate such things as the reality of ideas, and our own free will to choose which ideas we bring into ourselves, and into the world.

How can we create a sane world amidst chaos?

2024-01-27 Cynthia 07
Given that we exist within evolving consciousness, how best can we foster self-organizing sanity on an individual basis that can flourish to become greater than any inferior agenda, scheme, or plan?

I posted this question to Arlington Institute’s Quartet group of: John Peterson, Penny Kelly, Gregg Braden, and Kingsley Dennis after watching a recent conversation they had about “Looking Ahead at 2024.”  While I’ve not yet had the pleasure of hearing their thoughts on this matter, it was the best question that came to my mind that I’d most love to live the answer to, so it’s now become the subject of this post. Before diving into this topic, I’d love to share a quotation by Teilhard de Chardin:

“Let us keep the discoveries and indisputable measurements of physics. But let us not become bound and fettered to the perspective of final equilibrium that they seem to suggest. A more complete study of the movements of the world oblige us, little by little, to turn it upside down; in other words, to discover that if things hold and hold together, it is only by reason of complexity, from above.”

For a variety of reasons, it can seem these days that a great deal of independence and personal freedoms are being challenged when it comes to choices regarding:  food, health, and information sources.  When we hear world leaders calling for:  war instead of peace; surveillance of individuals rather than transparency of government offices and actions; and enforcement of global health regulations rather than open scientific discussions–we can observe that there appears to be a rift between what most people would choose (peace, safety, and love) and what is being planned (war, destabilization, and fear).

Self-organizing in Chaos Theory

The word “complexity” comes from the Latin complexus, meaning entwined or
embraced. Complex systems are those whose elements are difficult to separate, due to
interactions between elements. Complexity science aims to better understand and predict behavior of natural systems such as:  weather systems, volcanic activity, tectonic plate movements, activity in a city, economic trends, and most all aspects of living organisms.

According to Chaos Theory, self-organization occurs within systems that are far from a stable order.  This sounds counter-intuitive at first, so it’s helpful to take a look at where this happens.  Self-organization occurs in many physical, chemical, biological, robotic, and cognitive systems.

Examples of self-organization include:  crystallization, thermal convection of fluids, chemical oscillation, animal swarming, neural circuits, and black markets

Examples of self-organization can be found in physical and biological systems in:  sand grains assembling into rippled dunes, chemical reactants forming swirling spirals, cells comprising structured tissues, fish joining together into schools, and birds joining together in flocks.

How might we recognize the dawning of self-organizing systems, at these times when human organizations appear to be experiencing great chaos?   One excellent place to look is in the sensed presence of adjacent possible realities.

Stuart Kauffman and Cynthia Sue Larson at UC Berkeley, August 15, 2015

Stuart Kauffman and Cynthia Sue Larson at UC Berkeley, August 15, 2015

Sensing Adjacent Possibles

Stuart Kauffman recognizes the importance of future, uncertain possible states that he calls “adjacent possibles,” which he’d originally utilized in the context of biochemistry when defining the current set of organic molecules or “actual” systems as,

“all the kinds of organic molecules on, within, or in the vicinity of the Earth, say, out to twice the radius of the moon.”

Kauffman then differentiated that the “actual” set was separate from the “adjacent possible,” where “all of those molecular species that are not members of the actual, but are one reaction step away from the actual.” Kauffman expanded the context of where we might find adjacent possibles in the realm of evolving human social, cultural, and economic systems in his book, Humanity in a Creative Universe

“New goods and production capacities are new Actuals that are enabling constraints that do not cause, but enable new, typically unprestatable Adjacent Possible economic opportunities into which the economy “flows,” creating again new unprestatable new Actuals that enable yet new Adjacent Possibles.  Economic evolution is open-ended, creative, beyond entailing law, and radically emergent.”

Social transformations and evolution appear to exhibit both a sensitivity to initial conditions, as well as something that systems-thinkers refer to as “path-dependence”–which together can help us glimpse where we may start to recognize and appreciate formation of Adjacent Possibles.  There is an ongoing, iterative process at work here, such that the “strange attractors” of chaos theory that emerge and stabilize even amidst deterministic chaos become new Actuals.

And humans are apparently made to perceive and process remarkably subtle information, as Sean O’Nuallain describes regarding his research with Walter Freeman, appreciating the brain’s fractal architecture.  O’Nuallain proposes,

“that the brain functions far from thermodynamic equilibrium. We suggest that the brain moves in an extremely high-dimensional state space in a manner facilitated by the fact that it is permeated with self-similarity, both spatial and temporal. At the spatial level, self-similarity ensures that, in fractal fashion, each neuron changes in step with the cortex as a whole. In temporal fashion, self- similarity results in the power spectrum of much slower theta waves traversing the brain being identical to, if slower than, much faster gamma waves. Several times a second, the brain enters a limit cycle in which it becomes extremely sensitive to incoming stimuli. Therefore, even without mechanisms like stochastic resonance, we humans can detect stimuli as weak as a few photons, or a few parts per billion of scent. The brain is geared to process novelty as it is to process low entropy information.”

Sanity in Alignment

In our participatory cosmos, there can be advantage in asking questions you truly wish to live the answers to, which is how I formulated the question that led to this article:
Given that we exist within evolving consciousness, how best can we foster self-organizing sanity on an individual basis that can flourish to become greater than any inferior agenda, scheme, or plan?
The sanity some of us long for will be felt and seen when we sense Adjacent Possible realities featuring such noble attributes as:  honesty; integrity; balance; respect; kindness; wisdom; and love.  We will be able to feel these attributes, and we can already reward them with our time, attention, effort and energy.  By nourishing these Adjacent Possibles, we are assisting in creating best possible Actual futures for ourselves and future generations to come.

For Best Outcomes, Ask Optimal Questions

I highly recommend adding “How good can it get?” to every activity, thought, meditation, and day in order to invite optimal positivity into the world.  When we move forward with our attention and intention focused on my favorite question, “How good can it get?” we invite ourselves to trust and have faith in natural abundance of creation.

Find optimal realities at the periphery

2024-01-08 Cynthia gardenHow can we access optimal parallel worlds?

At this time when many of the world’s top scientists acknowledge there’s a real possibility that we’re living in a multiverse, and also that reality is a simulation with dreamlike qualities that we are constantly interpreting, the matter of accessing parallel realities is becoming more mainstream.  Finding optimal realities amidst what might be a large number of possible alternate worlds is likely as much an art as a science.

So how best might we begin this process?  Clearly, the first step is recognizing the presence of parallel realities.  We can find a clue as to how we encounter these in the words of Jerome Busemeyer and Peter Bruza:

“The wave nature of an indefinite state captures the psychological experience of conflict, ambiguity, confusion, and uncertainty; the particle nature of a definite state captures the psychological experience of conflict resolution, decision, and certainty.”

These thought provoking words come from their book, Quantum Models of Cognition and Decision.  The genius of this observation lies in its simplicity.  We have experience with mental and emotional states that map to the psychological experience of uncertainty, just as we have awareness and experience of how it feels to be decisive and certain.  Our appreciation of the dynamics and interplay between these two states of mind as being analogous to quantum states of waves and particles initiates a deeper, holistic awareness of how we human beings navigate through a dream-like, simulated world.
Befriending Uncertainty

There is a special gift in embracing–rather than fearing–the unknown.  We can embrace uncertainty when we recognize that exploring uncertainty can provide us with access to parallel  possible realities and worlds.  Thanks to the meshing of our thought processes to quantum processes, we can find newfound power in the experience of uncertainty.  We can revise the narratives and stories we’ve been told that would have us fear uncertainty, and start to develop a sense of trust for the innate uncertainties in Nature.  Part of the power of uncertainty is in its ability to bring something into reality and physical being that hadn’t been here before.  This entire process is natural, and finding our way of moving within flowing realities can be a natural process for us.

Befriending Certainty

We are called into a state of certainty, whenever immediate action is required, and any time we feel compelled to make a decisive choice.  Anytime we feel they need to take definitive action, we are collapsing the quantum wave function of uncertainty, and making a specific choice.  In that moment of choice, it is as if we have stepped into a possible reality that had only existed in the form of imagination a moment earlier.

Walking and Breathing in Divine Flow

The dynamic interplay between certainty and uncertainty shows us a glimpse of how we – – in the form of consciousness – – travel between realities each and every day.  We move with each breath we take, and with each step we take, forward in space and time into the divine flow of the unknown.
In our participatory cosmos, there can be advantage in asking questions you truly wish to live the answers to, such as, “How good can it get?”  Adding these five words to every step and every breath can invite more positivity into your experiences in the world.  When we move forward with our attention and intention focused on my favorite question, “How good can it get?” we invite ourselves to trust and have faith in natural abundance of creation.

Live Your Best Life Knowing You Are Safe, Loved, and Divinely Inspired

Cynthia CSLCan you imagine feeling safe, loved, and divinely inspired–no matter what is happening?

While that might feel improbable or even inconceivable, it’s good to imagine it being possible, and know that some of us are doing our best to live this way.

This topic came up after I heard from my friend, Ross Pittman of Conscious Life News:

Dear Cynthia. I love your latest article and video that you did on my request. It makes perfect sense and adds to my understanding of the nature of reality. My quest these days is to understand the nature of reality as much as I can. Even more, knowing who I am. And more than that, living my life in a manner that reflects that knowledge. I’m so glad we met. It’s truly an honor to know you and to call you a friend. You, more than anyone I know, seem to live your life from the non-dual space of your eternal self. Hey, that would be a good topic. Can you teach people to be like you?
Much love,
Ross

I received a couple of other related queries this past month, wondering how to return from the bliss of meditation into the relative chaos of daily life.  People who meditate know it feels great to attain blissful meditative states.  But how can we be our best selves when we’re not in those pure meditative states?
Meditate Daily

Dedicate regular time and space for meditation, choosing a type of meditation that works best for you.  You can try out combining a favorite activity with a favorite way to focus your attention, such as walking in nature while clearing your mind.  Or you can breathe slowly while focusing on slowing your thoughts down until they stop, and savor the experience of no-thoughts for a while.

With regular meditation, it can be possible to access a state of infinite, eternal, unconditional divine love, and a deepening faith that you are safe, loved, inspired, and protected.

Align Levels of Self

First of all, we can be our best selves by tuning in deeply to who each of us truly are, rather than by attempting to copy someone else.  Each of us is completely unique, with specific gifts, insights, and viewpoints that are not quite like anyone else.

I recommend starting with awareness that each of us is a multitude, consisting of levels of conscious agency, including our heads, hearts, and guts.  This matters, since we can sometimes get wrapped up in what we’ve been envisioning based on various ideas, despite feeling misgivings or very different inclinations from other levels of ourselves.

At each of these three broad levels of being (head, heart, gut), we can sense very different kinds of knowing.  We may notice that these levels of self awareness seem to have different views of our world, and different ideas about what we’re doing in this moment now.  When we notice such differences, we can receive gifts of deeper understanding regarding how some situations might have silver linings and deeper opportunities to better come to appreciate ourselves and how we relate to the Cosmos.I’ve sometimes been startled to notice that despite thinking I was completely of one accord with regard to a particular matter, I’ve inadvertently adopted an idea or vision that apparently was not in optimal harmonious alignment with all levels of myself.  Such awareness is possible at times when I’ve been sick or suffered an injury, resulting in my being unable to press onward and upward with what I had in mind as quickly as I’d hoped.

Savor Each Moment

I feel a sense of caring connection, when slowing down and savoring each moment.  Carl Jung, the Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, said,

“Reforms by advances, that is by new methods or gadgets, are of course impressive at first, but in the long run they are dubious and in any case dearly paid for.  They by no means increase the contentment or happiness of people on the whole.  Mostly, they are deceptive sweetenings of existence, like speedier communications which unpleasantly accelerate the tempo of life and leave us with less time than ever before.  Omnis festinatio ex parte diaboli est–‘all haste is of the devil,’ as the old masters used to say.  Reforms by retrogressions, on the other hand, are as a rule less expensive and in addition more lasting, for they return to the simpler, tried and tested ways of the past.”

I resonate strongly with this philosophy, which I’ve lived in accordance with from childhood on, inspiring me to decline adopting some technological advances, such as cell phones.  There is no need to decline any and all technological advances, but rather there can be great contentment and satisfaction in working more (rather than less) closely with Nature and the natural world.

Love Yourself and Others

We can sometimes be distracted by what people are doing or saying that seems wrong to us.  Those who cut corners and choose expedient rather than quality options can seem to be more part of the problem rather than the solution now—yet in a cosmos where God always says, “Yes,” such choices are bound to be made.

By choosing to maintain goodness, sanity, and clarity even when some people are spiraling downward with fear-based beliefs, you can provide a living example of consistently making the most love-based decisions at every junction.  This is the time to embody the one you’ve been waiting for, and as much as possible to radiate God-consciousness and unconditional love.  This is the time to be kind and loving toward everyone, including yourself.

By keeping your heart open and loving to all, and daily powering up and recharging with infinite, eternal divine unconditional love, you can now be safe, loved, and divinely inspired no matter what events may seem to be unfolding in your life and the world.  And you can share blessings of infinite, divine love with everyone and everything you feel connected to.

In our participatory cosmos, there can be advantage in asking questions you truly wish to live the answers to, such as, “How good can it get?”  Just adding these five words to whatever you’re contemplating can be enough to invite more positivity into your experiences in the world.

We don’t all share the same physical world

2023-11-03 Cynthia 2What if we don’t all share the same physical world? What if each person’s physical reality is not the same as anyone else’s?
In my recent IMEC presentation, Science of the Mandela Effect, I included a slide with a quote by Bernardo Kastrup that caught Conscious Life News editor Ross Pittman’s attention:
One of the weirdest theoretical implications of quantum mechanics is that different observers can give different—though equally valid—accounts of the same sequence of events. As highlighted by physicist Carlo Rovelli in his relational quantum mechanics (RQM), this means that there should be no absolute, observer-independent physical quantities. All physical quantities—the whole physical universe—must be relative to the observer. The notion that we all share the same physical environment must, therefore, be an illusion.
Ross mentioned that this idea matches up with other things he’s learned, such as where it fits in as being part of Vedanta, where the idea is presented that we are each dreaming our own unique/individual reality.  Ross also shared this quote from Bashar, “Even though you may think, as we have said, that you are ALL sharing one particular reality, you are not. You are creating your own version, your own simulation through agreements, telepathically connected agreements with each other, to create what appears to be the same reality. But each of you is creating your own.”

Importance of the Role of the Observer

What if everything–absolutely EVERYthing–is relative to the observer?  We see evidence that this is likely the case from experiments in quantum physics, such as the double slit experiment.

We can also see this idea shining through with brilliant illumination in the Mandela Effect and reality shifts–almost as if the Cosmos / God / Creator longs for us to notice this essential detail.  One thing that seems especially significant about the Mandela Effect is the way this phenomena works.  People don’t all notice the same changes, nor do they notice changes at the same time.  One person might notice several weeks, months, or years a particular Mandela Effect before someone else does.
I can almost sense these hints each time something is definitely quite different than it used to be, like gentle nudges, “Do you get it yet?”  It’s dazzlingly amazing to witness these entangled interwoven dynamically shifting realities inviting each and every one of us to more fully envision who we’d be and what we’d be doing differently if we fully grasped these ideas.
In my book, Reality Shifts, I describe reality shifts I’ve experienced that seemed to have occurred for no apparent reason, reality shifts I noticed corresponding to wishes or prayers, reality shifts that resulted in healing of people and things, ways to allow reality shifts and feel inspired, lucid dreaming, lucid living, thoughtful contemplation about why and how reality shifts, and a sense of what it’s like to live everyday life knowing that reality shifts.  When you experience the shifting nature of reality, you may find, as I have, that life feels like a dream. Much of what we call meaningful coincidence or synchronicity could be caused by a property of our minds to send and receive time waves, selecting a reality we choose to experience.

Wigner’s Friend / No Objective Reality

My favorite news story from 2019 was report of a physics experiment that challenges objective reality.  The researchers summed up the purpose and findings of their study as:
The scientific method relies on facts, established through repeated measurements and agreed upon universally, independently of who observed them. In quantum mechanics, the objectivity of observations is not so clear, most dramatically exposed in Eugene Wigner’s eponymous thought experiment where two observers can experience seemingly different realities. The question whether these realities can be reconciled in an observer-independent way has long remained inaccessible to empirical investigation, until recent no-go-theorems constructed an extended Wigner’s friend scenario with four observers that allows us to put it to the test. In a state-of-the-art 6-photon experiment, we realise this extended Wigner’s friend scenario, experimentally violating the associated Bell-type inequality by 5 standard deviations. If one holds fast to the assumptions of locality and free-choice, this result implies that quantum theory should be interpreted in an observer-dependent way.
This physics experiment is one of the first and most significant studies supporting what many of us have been witnessing with regard to reality shifts and Mandela Effects for years.  In order to most fully appreciate the significance of the findings from this experiment, we must reconsider our assumptions of objectivity.  Perhaps the biggest concept worthy of contemplation is the notion that there is not necessarily any completely shared physical reality.

Envisioning a world with no shared reality

How might we envision a physical world in which there is never any completely shared physical reality?  One way to envision it is with the example of role playing games in which some players experience completely unique variations of the game, even though some parts of the game include some shared events with other players.  In these games, each choice a player makes leads to experiencing different sequences of events–and not necessarily the same sequences of events experienced by other players. Such a game would more closely match what many of us are noticing with respect to observing how, for example, some people might notice a given example of a Mandela Effect several years ago, and someone else might just be recognizing that particular difference between their memories and historical facts for the first time this month.
In a world with no guarantee of shared physical reality, you’d likely notice that events you remember are described or recalled differently by other people in your life.  You might hear their reports of things you said or did that you don’t remember the same way, or of events having unfolded differently than what you’re certain occurred.  There can be great positivity and opportunity in a reality based more on subjective, rather than objective, experience.  As physicist George Weissmann and I state in our paper, The Quantum Paradigm and Challenging the Objectivity Assumption,
“Anomalous phenomena such as ESP and psychokinesis, collective consciousness, and synchronicity that are considered impossible in the context of the classical paradigm, fit naturally in, and can in turn provide evidence for the Quantum Paradigm. Spirituality and science are shown to be complementary approaches referring to the same reality, Mind, while each discipline retains its integrity. The Quantum Paradigm can be intellectually comprehended, as well as embodied: one can live in quantum reality. A good metaphor for this is “life as a dream”: with no “real” objects as distinguished from experienced objects.
Experience is “empty” of self-nature in the Buddhist sense, with everything interconnected and co-dependently arising. Experiencing the world by “embodying the Quantum Paradigm” is transformative, healing, and an antidote to alienation resulting from embodying the classical paradigm.
Embodying the Quantum Paradigm and living in the Oneness of all creation can help humanity—increasingly lost in the materialism and individualism reinforced by our embodiment of the classical paradigm—and restore intimate connection and harmony with Spirit, Nature and fellow humans; we need such a transformation to survive and thrive in our technological society.”
One way to help ensure that you explore more enjoyable possible realities is to engage in this participatory universe by remembering the power of the questions you ask with focused thought and charged emotional feeling.  There can be advantage in asking questions you truly wish to live the answers to, such as, “How good can it get?”  Just adding these five words to whatever you’re contemplating can be enough to invite more positivity into your experiences in the world.

Reading Signs when feeling unsettled

2023-07-18 Boulder Red Rocks CynthiaSometimes we feel unsettled as we receive signs or signals that startle or surprise us.  These messages might be a sign that we’re receiving information from a higher level of ourselves that are exactly what we need at this time.

I’ve recently received some remarkable messages in the form of truly unique experiences. This month, in late June and early July 2023, something happened when I was in my home, alone. It happened on more than one occasion, and it got my full attention each and every time.

My House Rang like a Bell

The first time my house rang like a bell, I was working quietly on my computer in my living room, with no sound or music playing of any kind. I was alone in the house, and heard a sound that I can best describe as something large having struck the eastern side of my house, at which point the house rang like a bell. The sound of initial impact was a bit like a dull thud, as if something large, solid, and perhaps padded had “thumped” some part of the house along the eastern wall.  On an emotional/feeling level, this impact left me with the intuitive sense that some kind of clapper had struck the house with the intent that it ring like a bell.  The actual sound to my ears was a dull thump or thud, with subsequent rippling sound waves.

Intrigued by this experience, I wanted to learn if such things had been noted as having occurred anywhere before.  I ran several internet searches, in hopes that I might find some other similar reports.  I conducted one such internet search in the wee hours of the late night/early morning one time, and found something along the lines of this in a Bible passage.  I remember reading that it said something about a building ringing like a bell as being an indication for people to wake up and pay attention, and rise up into the fullness of their being–as their best selves.  I realized the hour was late, and vowed to study this matter further in the morning–but when I looked the next day, there was no trace of any buildings that “rang like a bell,” and I could not find the information I’d previously found.  Apparently, there had been a reality shift, as I’m still unable to find anything along the lines of what happened for me.

My intuitive response to this series of incidents–because this happened several times over the course of a couple of weeks–is that some higher level of consciousness was getting my attention.  The net effect was a feeling of the importance of paying attention and getting ready, much like hearing a bell rung as a signal to get ready for something–to get back on track, and do the things I’m here to do.  I took this message as a personal message for me to get back to a project that had been sidelined for a while, when I was dealing with a chronic illness situation that began in January 2020, and cleared up so the worst is now over.

This message to wake up and pay attention feels to me like a reminder that we can learn from plants, animals, plants, and the Earth with levels of information accessible to us that is much deeper than what appears on the surface.  We human beings are still coming into the fullness of our abilities, and each time we collectively face a crisis on the planet, we are given an opportunity to remember and access more of who we truly are at a deep level.

I have found sources mentioning celestial bodies (the Earth and the Moon) ringing like bells, but no houses or structures:

The Moon Rang like a Bell
On November 20, 1969, Apollo 12 deliberately crashed the Ascent Stage of its Lunar Module onto the Moon’s surface; NASA reported that the Moon rang ‘like a bell’ for almost an hour, leading to arguments that it must be hollow like a bell.

The Earth rang like a Bell
Earthquakes have been known to ring the Earth like a bell:

On November 11, 2018, seismic sensors registered that the Earth rang like a bell, and pinpointed seismic origins near an island between Madagascar and Africa. And then as far away as Chile, New Zealand, Canada, and Hawaii–on the opposite side of the world.  Nobody knows what it was.  “I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it,” National Geographic reports Columbia University seismologist Göran Ekström said, “It doesn’t mean that, in the end, the cause of them is that exotic.”

On December 26, 2004, the world “rang like a bell” after the magnitude 9.0 Sumatra earthquake. Shock waves circled the world several times a day, possibly for days, Clive Collins, a scientist with Geoscience Australia, said, “Some pass right through the world, others travel around it, on the surface,” he said. “They get to to the other side but they won’t stop–they keep traveling. They just get smaller and smaller.” Surface waves traveled “fairly slowly, probably three or four kilometers a second. Because they are very low frequency waves you can’t feel them.”

Others hit the Earth’s mantle or its molten iron core and bounced back. The result was that the Earth reverberated like a bell, or a water-filled balloon.

Reading Signs when unsettled

Sometimes when we receive synchronicity, signs, and signals when feeling unsettled, we are receiving gifts of great value and significance.  While visiting People’s Crossing (previously known as Settler’s Park) in Boulder, Colorado, I felt the rocks are kinds of signs, too.  They feel like encouragement to, “Keep going, you’re almost there,” whether people were moving from the plains to the mountains, or coming down from the mountains to the plains.

Receiving such reminders can help us rise above the stress of feeling unsettled, as we remember that through stillness meditation, we can access a sense of feeling a connection with the eternal, the infinite, the absolute.  Through such expanded awareness and wisdom of what matters most that is ever-lasting, we can regain a sense of calm, and inner peace and joy as we restore a sense of connection to the internal divinity that is our essential core nature.

And when we remember to ask my favorite question, “How good can it get?” we can also come back from meditation with insights and inspiration we can immediately utilize to find greater enjoyment in our daily lives.

How to Choose the Best Meditation for You

AHMbackcover copyIf meditation is so good for us, why can it feel so hard to get started?

You’ve most likely seen reports listing many benefits from meditation, recently have been scientifically proven to produce long-lasting improvements in mental cognition, problem-solving, and even increases in brain cell growth after just a few weeks of meditating for 20 minutes a day. Scientific interest in this topic has been steadily growing with no slow-down in sight; Google scholar lists over 5,000 studies citing benefits of meditation that have been published in the first seven months of 2015.

Some of the advantages of meditation include: reduction of stress which in turn boosts the immune system, energy levels, and sense of wellbeing and equanimity; growth of grey cells in the brain and the hippocampus, contributing to better cognitive functioning and problem solving; lengthened telomeres, contributing to greater longevity and overall health.

In addition to these and hundreds of more proven benefits of meditation, people who meditate also find themselves surrounded with happy coincidences and delightful synchronicity. Things just seem to go their way.

So how can we get started meditating, when it’s something we’ve never done before?

Overcome Inner Resistance

As in all matters of health and wellbeing, we can be our own best friends and supporters on a path to improvement, or we can be self-saboteurs. Since meditation is turning out to be as important to good health as sleep, diet, and exercise, it’s important to find ways to ensure we make time for it in our daily lives. And just like choosing diet and exercise programs that work best for you, a meditation program will be most rewarding and effective when it’s well-suited to your individual strengths, style, and preferences. And when it’s fun!

I’ve found that one of the best ways for me to stick with my commitment to daily meditation is to practice the types of meditation I most enjoy. There are so many types of meditation to choose from–yet I know I’ll actually do the ones that feel just right for me, because I feel like they’re actually fun! This tactic is a bit like “whistling while you work,” but it’s actually even better than that, because when I choose types of meditation I like to do, meditation isn’t a bit like work!

Create Your Favorite Meditations

Here’s a quick way to zero in on finding the best meditation technique for you. First, choose a favorite physically relaxing activity, and then select a favorite mental focus. When you combine these two, you’ll have a customized meditation technique that is just right for you! To get started, honestly complete two sentences:  (1) One of my favorite ways to relax is _________________ and (2) I most enjoy focusing my attention on ___________________.

It’s helpful to take a look at examples of some different ways people might answer these questions, to give you an idea of how to construct personalized meditations, starting with the idea of taking a look at your favorite way to relax. And yes, simply doing whatever activity you find most relaxing can count as a form of meditation!

(1) One of my favorite ways to relax is to:

Listen to music
Work in the garden
Close my eyes and breathe deeply
Watch clouds go by
Take a hot bath
Go for a walk

People who enjoy walking can develop their own form of walking meditation. Some people count their breaths as they walk, others simply let go of their worries with each deep breath, and still others observe their thoughts go by without pursuing them. What sort of mental focus appeals to you?

Cynthia Sue LarsonCynthia Sue Larson using two wire coat hangers to dowse energy fields

(2) I most enjoy focusing my attention on:

Letting go of all thoughts
Breathing
Observing the patterns of thoughts
Feeling energy flowing through my body

Whatever mental focus most appeals to you is the one to try. Some people prefer to mull over various thoughts of the day, while others find a sense of nirvana in getting to a place of inner harmonious peace in which thoughts and feelings are cleared away as they show up. Some people feel relaxed by paying attention to bringing awareness to physical activities such as breathing, and take care to breathe more slowly and deeply to the lower abdomen. If you don’t know what you prefer, then try out various ways to focus your attention until you find one that feels best to you.

This is really all there is to it… just combine one of your most relaxing activities with one of your most relaxing mental focuses, and you are meditating! You can even come up with a few favorite meditations, such as one that works best when first awakening, another one to do while showering or brushing your teeth, and yet another to do while taking a walk.

If you try one meditation and find you don’t like it, then try another one. You can find something you like, so don’t give up!

Know the Full Possibility of You

” It is wisdom to know others;
It is enlightenment to know one’s self.”
— Lao Tzu

Who are you?

The first time someone asked you, “Who are you?” you might reply by saying your name. If someone asked, “Who are you?” a second time, you might state your job title, in order to provide information that helps to set you apart and explain your relationship to others.

If I was asked, “Who are you?” on a college campus, I’d likely mention that I am an alumna, or mention that I have a degree in Physics from UC Berkeley. If asked this question at an airport in France, I’d mention that I’m an American citizen who lives in California. When asked this question on a TV interview, I’d say I’m a best-selling author of the books, Quantum Jumps and Reality Shifts. If asked this question by a meditation master, I’d reply, “awareness.” While each of my answers could be considered accurate and true, a good case could also be made that none of these descriptions is who Ireally am—since there is more to me than just my name, job title, citizenship, and other descriptors. And based on what I have learned about the way we exist in a superposition of states—as can be seen in the doubling of the efficacy of the placebo effect over the past thirty years—I am aware of the importance of keeping a positive, open mind to considering myself to be doing better than how any given label or description might seemingly confine me.

One of the things we most take for granted is knowing who we are—yet this is one of the biggest areas in which we have room to increase our understanding of what is possible in our lives. People sometimes discover that they can do things they didn’t think possible—when circumstances require them to handle situations they’ve never previously faced. In an emergency, people have been known to be able to perform amazing feats of courage and strength, such as lifting a heavy car off of someone else. When some people have transformative life experiences, they often realize there is nothing holding them back from pursuing the life of their dreams, seeking out new kinds of friends, activities, and work.

MBTItypesOne very important quality that personality tests don’t describe is what level of consciousness you are accessing at any particular moment. Such levels include: waking, dreaming, deep sleep, and a sense of oneness awareness—with transitional levels in between. Some yogis and martial artists are capable of developing the ability through meditation and internal energy work of changing their level of consciousness, allowing them to interact with their environment with harmonious grace and ease. While we move between these levels of consciousness on a regular basis, we seldom give much thought to how we engage with these levels of consciousness, or who and what we’re connecting with while we’re dreaming or daydreaming, for example. What scientists can measure is that they associate some of these stages of consciousness with brain waves, with the lowest stages of unconsciousness corresponding with Delta brainwaves in the 0.5 to 4 Hz frequency range, and Theta brainwaves in the 4 to 8 Hz range. We consider ordinary waking consciousness to correspond with Alpha brainwaves between 8 to 13 Hz, and Beta brainwaves between 13 to 30 Hz. Gamma brainwaves at 30 to 42 Hz, are associated with extreme abilities to focus, and high states of ecstasy.
Some employers administer personality tests, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) in hopes of establishing a better fit between applicants and job openings. The idea is that such tests can help sort out tendencies people have toward being an introvert or extrovert, senser or intuitive, thinker or feeler, and judger or perceiver— providing us with clues as to how people with shared personality characteristics tend to respond to various situations. As tempting as it might be to get your MBTI score and think, “At last I know who I am! I am a ______,” filling in blank with one of the sixteen MBTI personality types, such as “INFJ” for example, for “Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judger”, psychologists are finding that people can sometimes move around from personality type to personality type, such as becoming more extroverted.

The question of who you are takes on tremendous importance at this point in history—the dawning of the Quantum Age. Due to the required inclusion of a conscious observer at the heart of quantum physics, it’s no longer possible for scientists to assume such things as that there can be a purely objective observer. In actuality, observers are known to influence every observation they make, simply by their presence and what the observer is paying attention to. And how we pay attention to ourselves can make a tremendous difference in our health, happiness, and wellbeing.

When I ask myself the question, “Who are you?” I discover I am aware of myself on many levels of being. I realize that I am much more than simply my gender, my age, my profession, my experiences, and my socio-economic information. I am much more than my types of expertise. I am more than my skills, more than my hobbies, more than my bank balance. I’m more than my nationality, more than my college degrees, and more than any other types of certifications I’ve received. There are levels of “me” that can be subsets of my body—such as “being in my head” and thinking about ideas like these. There are levels of my being that are aware of living my life for love, with tremendous heart-centeredness. There are also levels of “me” that include many possible superpositions of states of me—some that I’m more aware of than others. And there are levels of “me” based on awareness of my being entangled with and part of much more than my physical body right here, right now. With so many different answers to who I am, I’m glad to discover that the less limited and the more expansive I am with my answer to the question, “Who are you?” the more enjoyable and fulfilling my life becomes.
